Mission Viejo Pony Baseball

Mission Viejo Pony Baseball was founded in the Fall of 2010 and has recently completed our second full year of play. We currently have over 50 teams from our own league and we choose to play some inter league games with neighboring leagues.

At the end of our 2012 season, our 8U All-Star team won the PONY Baseball World Series Championship for the Pinto division. Our 10U All-Star team made it to the finals of the Western Zone Championships before losing in the finals to Blossom Valley, California. Blossom Valley moved on to win the World Series championships for 2012.

Our boundaries are headquartered in Mission Viejo but we accept players from the neighboring cities of Ladera Ranch, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Trabuco Canyon, Rancho Santa Margarita and Lake Forest. We play at local fields and parks in Mission Viejo in addition to nearby elementary and high schools.

The league was founded by Rob Frias, a resident of Mission Viejo since 1967 and former baseball player at Saddleback College and Mission Viejo North little league.
